I was debating between getting this gamepad for a computer and Sony's controller, but in the end I decided to get both. My preference is for the Xbox pad when it comes to gameplay since, firstly, games support it (you don't need to install any left-handed programs, only one single driver), and secondly, when playing dual shock, my palms get quite sweaty (I didn't believe it myself at first, but it really is). The cross appealed to me as well. It is true that it clicks, but I enjoy playing it since it fits my particular needs (most of the games I play are platform games). For everything else, this one is superior, but fighting game fans and emulator users specifically should consider getting the controller. Although it's unlikely that you'll be dissatisfied with your purchase no matter which gamepad you choose with, both Microsoft and Sony tried their best. By the way, even without batteries, it weights a tiny bit more than a controller that has a battery built into it; this information may be useful for somebody, so I thought I'd share it.
