For my beautiful colored girls I have 4c hair so it will suit you. My natural hair holds a lot of heat so it took me longer. it just depends on how your hair holds heat. The glove they give is also handy for curling your hair. The end of the iron gets pretty hot and you don't want to touch it with your pretty nails. The white tips keep the heat out and the clips are a nice bonus for those of you who can't find another home.
