I have a big cat and although he made great use of the box, because of the size he bumped into the sides, so if you don't use the sides do not get wet, you should use a cat box liner. The lid was a bit of a hassle and had to be folded under or my cat would step on it and as it is very flexible it would destroy the side of the box if it stepped on any part of the lid. I used it for a week long vacation with my family and it worked. My only complaint about cleaning is that if it gets wet from cleaning it gets damp and cannot be used until dry, same goes for cat poop. I put the liner on on day two and it fixed the issues but don't expect to just use a travel box, it absorbs too much moisture. Great idea, good product, just needs a little tweak.
