I bought this hoping to get a quality tool at a very competitive price. I want it to live up to expectations but unfortunately I had to return it. My main concern is that the temperature probes/clamps that come with the tool are not accurate enough to properly calculate superheat and subcooling. At room temperature, they differed by at least 8⁰F, and even when left untouched and placed side by side, they still didn't give the same readings. There is no function on the instrument itself to calibrate or correct these readings. On the plus side, the sensor suite itself feels solid, the display is clear and easy to read, and it's fairly intuitive to use. If you don't need temperature clamps, I think this tool will be very useful. I have no way of knowing if the refrigerant pressure readings are accurate as I never connected it to my system knowing the temperature readings would not be reliable.
