I am a golf course irrigation technician by trade. The stationmaster should definitely be in your toolbox. You can save a lot of time and nerves when troubleshooting in the field. Tonic works great too. Useful when trying to identify individual wires in a bundle. I would recommend lowering the sensitivity/volume of the coloring pen itself. This makes it easier to find the wire you are trying to identify. If you are serious about this industry and want to be more productive in this area, get it. You will not regret it!
