Check out your ceiling light parts
First, there were no instructions. Next, the mounting screws I received are too long. You need 1 1/4 inches to keep the light flush with the ceiling, not 1 3/4 inches. Make sure you measure before you start. Some parts were rusty and needed cleaning (spare parts come in a small bag). Found that out afterwards. Completed the installation after a few hours of fiddling and it worked great.
