The first thing I should note is that this is not glass. They are made of plastic (hence only 4 instead of 5 stars). At the same time, I'm an avid lover of wine glasses, so drinking from plastic hurts me. BUT we were camping so sacrifices had to be made and I have to say the plastic is very flimsy (they don't look like the cheap stuff you get in backpack picnic sets) and the shape is decent so these are those best plastic glasses. I've ever drunk out. Obviously they are not suited to reds, whites, etc. BUT we were camping and that's why I liked them. They are very compact (the base is flipped over and inserted into the main glass) and easy to install. The plastic is very transparent, making it look like glass. They are great for camping, also for wine lovers. They seem to be the best product out there for this purpose as I've found one made out of glass (if at all possible) and I've done a BIG search.
