Useless dashboard vacuum

Cleaned the dashboard to remove all dust from the dashboard. Installed the hard drive and waited 3 days before putting a suction cup on it for my GPS/phone. Within a few days, the plastic of the pane deformed so that the suction cup could no longer be used. The deformation could have been caused by the summer heat in the car or the pressure of the suction cup (or both). In any case, it is not suitable for use in cars.
