These blended waxes work well for bottle dipping as long as the right temperature is set for each color and dipping method. Unfortunately, the temperature and immersion time are different for each color. I think it has to do with the composition of each wax color. The user must test and play with each color to find the right balance between color and saturation, including cool down time. Here are my results: 1) Gloss Black - slightly glossy and true black 2) Bright Red Gloss - slightly glossy and true red 3) Lime Green - has small iridescent metallic particles (pleasant to the touch) and sometimes very slightly translucent as temperature increases /cooling times do not match 4) Violet - has a slightly muted matte purple color (no sheen) 5) Gold - a nice vintage color with a slight sheen (reminds me of old gold, if that makes sense) 6) Copper is my favorite (pleasant color and slight sheen). Looks like rose gold 7) Goldenrod - more like a yellowish orange with a gold tinge (with a slight sheen) 8) Silver - very nice real silver (shiniest due to metallic particles). melts with each color batch (very pleasant) and inexpensive. This must be purchased for bottle dip. The only problem I have is that some colors are hard to choose based on pictures. I want all the colors to be bright and have a wide variety of colors but keep them simple (black, red, blue, pink, green, dark yellow, orange, brown, gold, silver, etc.). Either way, these mixed wax bead formats are a must.
