I bought this mini chopper to replace one that was about ten or more years old. I loved my old helicopter, but this one was much better. I think I got used to my old one and didn't realize I could get better. The cover is easy to attach. With a few button presses, the bow will be just the way I like it. One of the recommendations for use is to pulse the button instead of holding it down. So you can cook your own food the way you like without cutting it. The great thing is if you want your food to be finely chopped like baby food this is perfect. I also use it to grind nuts very finely, almost to a paste. I started with recipes like carrot cake because my mother-in-law said large chunks of nuts would get under her false teeth. I used this grinder to make the nuts for carrot cake very small and spreadable. This way you get the benefits of nuts in the cake without the big chunks of nuts that can bother people with partial teeth or who just don't like the texture of the nuts in the cake.
