So I feel the need to review these headphones. I tried literally everything to prevent my husband from shaking, trembling in his thoughts, driving a person crazy, snoring. I am not exaggerating when I say this! It literally makes the bed and walls shake and rings at 93 decibels. I have small ears and sleep on my side, so sleeping with something in my ears is very painful for me. The silicone eartips only blocked about 32 decibels, which caused me to get an ear infection from sweating. The foam ear tips also only block 32 decibels and hurt my ears a lot. I wake up with a throbbing bruise in my ears. I even spent a lot of money on the new Bose sleep headphones and they have great noise cancellation but they made a very annoying noise when they made contact with the pillow and they weren't very comfortable when I slept on my side . So now information on these villains. I was sure that after spending only $14 they would never work! But I thought what the heck, I've tried everything else. They are so comfortable, first of all. They are soft and fit perfectly in my small ears. I hardly feel them when I sleep on my side and I have almost no discomfort in the morning. These babies drown out my men by 93 decibels when the volume is turned up. If I don't want to hear that loud brown noise and turn it down, it still blocks about 85 decibels. It creates little suction and no noise can get past. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I've only had them for a few weeks and they suddenly started activating Suri throughout the night. I don't know what's the matter with them. But I definitely don't like waking up to Suri's stupid voice lol. I turned Suri off and now he calls and wants me to do a voice command all night. I will order them again because at $14 they are worth it because they block my husband and prevent me from killing him. UPDATE: They definitely work and I've even ordered 2 more pairs for backups. I have a new complaint, but not redeeming it is not enough for me, but I hope the manufacturer sees this and makes changes. The volume button is too high on the cable. It lands right on my cheek and when I turn over at night the volume goes up or down because it's very sensitive. I have to fasten the cord on my head and avoid it all night. I really hope they make this change otherwise they are great!
