So I noticed that this headband is only 15 inches long and is made from a random elastic band that isn't meant for babies. So yes, it can still stretch, but it doesn't feel soft at all. I would say it is suitable for 3 to 6 months old, but it might be too big for newborn and too narrow for 6 months old. My daughter is 7 months old and looks very tight on her. So I decided to do something like DIY. I just took off the rubber band and put on a soft one. Then wow! The headband fits just right! It sits very softly on her head and looks very comfortable and charming! I know you probably think it's still a lot of work, but it's only 10 minutes and well worth it! If you really like this design and the price, you can try swapping the straps.
