I am an experienced makeup artist. There really isn't much to say on this subject, the dark is really very dark and the light is really very bright, but I didn't find the intermediate tones helpful. I have fair/fair skin. It just seemed like you were building on whatever you touch very lightly and really, really, really building, otherwise you're going to apply it too much and end up with a big brown blob on the side of your face. Not much powder falls out and it really is packed in a can. I won't buy this again.
