This item does not look, feel or smell like real leather. The upper, faux alligator leather, is clearly vinyl (or whatever you call it). likely leather upholstery (leather scraps glued to a vinyl topsheet). Also, the underside that touches your wrist feels like vinyl and has a certain vinyl smell. Unfortunately I missed the window to return the item. It's overpriced for what it is, it's a vinyl watch strap with some leather scrap padding. Don't be fooled like me.
