Unfortunately I will have to return the cuticle scissors for a better one. The blades are not sharp enough and the outer edge of the blades is rough, not finished or properly ground. The latter scratches my nails when I clip my cuticles. This has never happened to me, and I have been using Solingen scissors made in Germany for many years. I understand that there are different grades of quality which is reflected in the price but the ones I bought were at an average price. The product must be satisfactory. I use scissors once a week or more often. On the plus side was the fast shipping and the slight rub resistance went away as soon as I put a tiny drop of oil in it.
