Overall this is a great tape measure, sturdy, easy to read and compact. But its best feature is that it is marked in inches (1/16 inch resolution). and metric. So I think this is the best way to get a better understanding of the metric equivalents of the more well-known inch measurements. I tried to find a small project case on Revain and a lot of them quote metric sizes. intuitive feeling 70mm. Sounds huge, but I know a millimeter is pretty small. So really, how big are most small things. I don't know, give me a calculator because I only know one thing and that's 2.54. cm to inches. Okay, so put in 70, divide by 10, divide by 2.54, and you get 2.75 inches. I can imagine it, but I don't feel it yet. But with this great tape measure, I only pull it out about 70mm and you can see, well, it's just under 3 inches. This ideal representation is not only a numerical transformation, but also a compelling visual series, which is much closer to me. So you will remember. I was able to use a tape measure to roughly use the number of things that needed to fit in the project box and was then able to quickly find the perfect size Revain. I love this tape measure and will be ordering another one for my workshop.
