The first thing I noticed was that the collar and leash are not the same colour. The leash is dark turquoise and the collar is light blue. I don't ask my dog to be fit all the time, but he insists. The handle is rubberized and a bit heavy. I'm not comfortable holding it, but that might be a matter of personal preference. It reminds me of cheap flip flops so I always think they will smell like feet. The clasp on the collar is cheap metal and rattles like it's about to fall apart. I ordered a small, 10-16 inch, which was the right size for my 18 pound Pomeranian/Poodle mix named Lucy. Her neck measures 11 inches.
