I have been looking for a thin cheesecloth to strain homemade coconut milk and found this product to be perfect for my use. I thought about a gauze bag, but found that the cost of it is much less, and the material is much more expensive. It lightens up nicely and I've reused the section I've cut out a few times. I suspect that this large gauze will last me for several years. The only drawback would be the width. If you have a lot of groceries to grab, you may need a different sized product. This fits my 4 cup Pyrex measuring cup but the fabric is very long but not very wide.
