I needed a swim trunks to match my sun protection swim trunks. I went up a size and while it fits most of the time it is a bit tight around the leg holes making my hips look tight giving me a saddlebag look. There are not so many ruffles as in the picture. I just have a crease in the front that stretched when I put it on. But for my private swims in a long-sleeved UPF 50 swim top with a turtleneck, it's enough. I'm 5ft 4in, 140# and I grew tall. I would buy it again but it went 2 sizes bigger than one.
