I needed to replace the original carburetor on my 2005 Yamaha 350 Bruin. I figured I'd save a lot of money and do a skein. What a waste of time (it takes a lot of time to disassemble a carburetor) and money. It started and ran about 5 minutes. After that it didn't start at all. The fuel tank started leaking. Invested in a Yamaha stock replacement carburetor ($228.00). Works like new. The old saying is true. You get what you pay for.
