This thing works amazingly well for something at this price point. It really saved me from small chips on the windshield. I don't even notice where the crack was. First thing I'll say, don't do it in direct sunlight (according to the directions). I preferred to do it indoors and with a UV lamp. In fact, it gave me the best results. This is pretty easy to do. You simply install the aspirator with a tear down the middle, press firmly and inject the solution. I would shake the bottle a bit and also make sure the crack is as clean and dry as possible. I just compressed compressed air and applied Windex to the crack. Note that this only works if the crack is on the outside of the glass. If the crack is internal, it won't work. It will take some time for the solution to harden. It accelerates with UV light, but don't leave it in direct sunlight as the heat can cause problems. Once the grout has hardened, you can easily remove this sucker and wipe the window. To be honest I didn't even see any cracks after using it. Note that this will not work on LARGE cracks. I'm not sure how many cracks you can fix with mortar as it depends on the size. Doesn't leak which is nice. I would still recommend leaving it on for at least 24 hours before getting out of the car. As far as I can tell, it hasn't come loose or peeled off. Even on a hot day, the resin did not run out and the crack did not appear. The same applies to the car wash. All in all, this is a good thing for small cracks in the windshield. Just make sure the tear is on the surface and not too big (no more than 1 inch). Larger cracks are not filled with it. This saves a lot of money and is very easy to do. No specialist is required for this. The tool can be used over and over again if you have extra resin that is used to repair glass. The suction is strong to ensure the resin is pushed into the crack and holds up very well in hot, cold and wet conditions.
