Looks good, but the main problem has been fixed in the replacement antenna.

Original review: Looks like a good antenna *BUT* there is a lump of polymer on the threads preventing it from mating with the bracket or coil. I've tried removing it but I don't want to damage the threads. I'm sending it back and hoping the replacement will fix the problem. Update after receiving the replacement antenna: The polymer "blob" is still there, but is no longer blocking the filaments like the first one.

I would recommend this product for replacing a telescoping whip and you half less loss.
