Finally fixed the side/turn signal issue I had after more than two years of "probably just a broken wire somewhere". and more than a frustrating couple of hours trying to find that free cable. Because it wasn't a free wire. The old outlet was hardly rusted enough to not work with a lightbulb, but it showed up fine on my multimeter.
