Tear resistance Suitable for filters

Attention! A few days after installation, the filter housing failed catastrophically. I was stranded at 10am on Saturday. Night with Frost (-4). I don't know if the temperature was the cause or not, but it still shouldn't have happened. The housing/filter housing cracked almost the entire diameter of the "cap" on the inlet side and all my new synthetic fluid came out. On my diesel truck this meant no power steering or power brakes and a 'dry' pump so the truck definitely didn't work!
