Review on Pentair TLC 24 Membrane Replacement GPD by Anatoly Yorgason

I installed this membrane in a Kent Marine 24 GPD reverse osmosis system feeding a 150 gallon saltwater aquarium. During installation, the conductivity of the tap water inlet was 650 µS as measured with an American Marine Pinpoint conductivity meter set to the low range (0-2000). The product water exiting the membrane and fed into the DI canister was 15 microsiemens, corresponding to 97 to 98 percent removal of inorganic salts. The conductivity of the water produced leaving the deionization tank was below the meter reading since the meter read zero microsiemens. The ratio of effluent to production water was measured after installation and found to be the desired 4 to 1 ratio using the original orifice plate installed by the manufacturer in the membrane housing.
