I have a C1 and it doesn't have a motorized head. I have some low pile rugs and the rest is hardwood and tile. I recently started raising a white dog and oh my god you can see her fur. This turbohead does its job. It seems stuck, but when you move it back and forth it lifts the hair. Sometimes a little fluff is left on the backswing, but I raise my head a little and the machine sucks it up right away. I think it's better than motorized heads because they can turn off your mats. My old Shark always had more carpet fibers than mud in a cup. Anyway, this one does the job and costs about 1/3 the price of a Miele. The best purchase I've made in a long time! The only downside is that my hair is long and winds up on the brushroll, but I just take a pair of scissors and trim it every time I vacuum and the machine sucks it up. Update 9/10/2021 - Doesn't spin anymore. sequentially. It's not clear why, but I suspect dust got into the bearings or something else the brush is spinning on. It's been pretty much exactly a month and I'm out of the return window. I will contact the seller and see if they endorse their product. Update September 27, 2021 - Excellent customer service. The seller stands behind the product. I tried working with this but it ended up getting stuck and not spinning at all. I received a refund promptly. I still recommend you try this brush head.
