If you're looking for a system that delivers great overhead sound through dedicated Atmos speakers, this isn't the system for you. If you want great crossover effects for dedicated seating then you won't get that as no calibration mic is included. However, this is the perfect surround sound system for a bedroom or small apartment. The remote's "Night" function allows the user to cut the bass (sub) by 50% with one press and cut it by 100% with a second press. I have found this feature extremely useful as my wife can sleep while I can still watch a movie. This system is great when you need a system for a small space or have very close neighbors with thin walls. It's also the perfect system if you're just getting started with quality home theater. That's better than most boxed 5.1 systems.
