PWM in this model has a very high ripple factor and starts to hit the eyes even with a slight deviation of the brightness level from 100%. I was very surprised, because. upgraded from the Galaxy S7, where exactly the same PWM, and where my eyes did not get tired of the word at all. Keeping in mind that I noticed PWM on S4, but not on S7 anymore, I naively believed that Samsung learned how to correctly adjust the ripple frequency so as not to hit the eyes (as it is already done in iPhones), but it seems that this is not so. As a result, I installed the Oled Saver program, which eliminates flicker and can automatically adjust the brightness. I also feared that Exynos would slow down and lag. But so far everything works well, just VERY quickly. So overall I'm happy.
