I bought these to do body work and sand off old paint, they easily hold a 5 inch hook and loop sandpaper. It's a great value, but its pros and cons are its cons. The advantages are that they are stiff and with my standard drill bit they can chip the paint off the car in one pass. The downsides are they are rigid and don't flex, so working around body lines can be difficult. However, the pros outweigh the cons and help me get the paint off my car quickly. If or when I wear them out I'll buy 2 more. For the price this is a great buy.
