Falls apart easily - educational and activity toy

My kids love these shapes because they are bright, translucent and glow under LED light (great for lighted tables). I ordered them first because when teaching kids about 3D objects with book images, it's difficult to distinguish between 2D objects when first learning. This has helped increase my son's knowledge in kindergarten and my daughter who has autism has a better understanding of these forms. These shapes help emphasize that a cube is very different from a square, and later helped both when I tested them in 2D vs 3D with online boom maps. Cons: The plastic bottoms fall off easily even when I'm holding them, and there are tiny circles of plastic that pop out easily and get lost quickly. Why they aren't sealed - no idea?! Maybe to show that you can put things in a 3D object and not in 2D. I am generous in explaining what is clearly a design flaw and a choking hazard when you have children of different ages in the house who are in the mouth stage. They seem so fragile and if they were strong they would be a fun addition to our Magna tiles, but they even fall a little! The floor fell off! Wood would have been better, but I liked those bright colors like the kids did.
