I bought a new TV stand a few months ago and recently bought a 65 inch LG 4K TV (UJ6300). The stand is documented to support up to 70 inch TVs so I figured I'd be fine. LG chose VESA 300 over VESA 400 when designing the TV, but only because they also thought it would be a good idea to design a real bar on the bottom back of the TV. Fit a VESA 400 standard TV On top of that, I wanted to mount the TV on a stand that was at least 8 inches apart (see photo), and I was scratching my head. Idea of buying a new stand but couldn't find anything in my walmart level budget that would fit my preamp and amp. LG was $900 per door with a 2 year extended warranty. The next best option was $1,000. VIEW. Didn't really trust the brand, hence the idea of paying extra. only $260 eliminated that possibility. I decided to install TV feet to temporarily bypass the floating mount, but this forced me to rearrange all my components and ended up using all the previously available shelf space below. I knew there had to be a way to make everything work, so I started looking online for a solution. After about a week of searching, I found and ordered Husky VESA adapters. I believe each of the identical adapter plates is chamfered to make room for the mounting screws. They also served as perfect spacers for the LG hump. After much trial and error, I found a configuration that allowed me to overcome all the shortcomings of both the TV and the TV stand, without blocking any of the inputs on the back or the LG power button on the bottom edge. I was also able to move the center speaker back to its original position so that it is now at ear level. I also have plenty of extra space for a Nintendo Switch which should be under the tree ;) Most people would consider this a trivial issue but if you are on a budget and need your wife's approval this product can really save your life . ***. If you have a similar problem, you will not find a cheaper solution. I would give them 10 stars if it was possible.
