PSXC controllers fit well. Others not so much.
In a Q&A someone asked if the DS4 controllers would fit. I couldn't get it to fit in any way that I flipped it. However, I could install a PSX analog controller as shown in the second image. It doesn't fit in a drawer as well as the PSXC controller, but the lid closes well and I've had no problems with it. I hope this clears up any confusion as to which controllers to use.
