Review on 2-Pack SSD Mounting Bracket: Securely Mount SSDs to 3.5-inch Hard Drive Bays with Screws for PC SSD Upgrade by Yvonne Roybal

Buy something else with standard size screw holes

I have this adapter to install a Kingston SSD in my computer. The SSD attaches to the adapter with screws from the top and will only mount when the top of the Kingston SSD is facing up due to the recessed screw holes and the length of the screws. Then I found that the adapter's threaded side mounting holes didn't match the standard hard drive hole sizes, so my mounting screws didn't fit. I had to cut holes on a standard hard drive size (6-32 NC) so I could plug it into the hard drive bay in my computer. In addition, the adapter's mounting holes are slightly offset so that it fits in the basket upside down compared to hard drives. This rotates the power and SATA cables 180 degrees in relation to all other hard drive cables. I would not buy or recommend this adapter.
