Accuracy is halved

This TDS meter comes in a cool little carrying case. The package contained paper with instructions, most of which were on a stylet. I tested my well water and this meter was halfway down. I cleaned the anode just to be safe, but everything I tried was double. I know because I compared with another tester, I also tested my water with professionals too. So far it's a good counter, but in my case I had to halve the results, e.g. e.g. 300 is 150, 120 is 60 etc.
