Review on IOGEAR HUB C 4 Port USB GUH3C14 by Scott Welch

MacBook 2013+ loses WiFi with this product

I would like to give this hub a higher rating, I just can't. My wife bought a MacBookPro in late 2016 and received it just before Christmas. I bought this hub as a backup but gave it to her beforehand so she could hook up her computer and accessories. Unfortunately, she tried all 4 USB-C ports, and while the devices synced properly, she lost wifi every time. After checking Apple's support pages, it was discovered that many of these hubs emit RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), which disrupts the WiFi connection. Solution: Apple makes an adapter with a USB-A female connector and a USB-C male connector. Interconnects. There are a few others on Revain that are the same price as Apple and come in specific Mac colors, but we used an Apple adapter for guaranteed results. I would not recommend this product until IOGear fixes the RFI issue.
