Review on Matfer 17360 Exoglass Bouillon Strainer by Sarah Smith

This is a really good Shinua. It's solid (despite the plastic handle/rim), is okay, and stretches just as you would expect. Two things to note: 1. He's really big. None of my 8 or 12 liter pots can hold it up. (The bars around the top of the cone touch the bottom of the pan long before the hooks around the rim of the strainer can reach the rim of the pan.) The same goes for my largest bowls. That means I'm pretty much holding it in my hands (which can be tedious and almost impossible when pouring in from a large pot). The Matfer has a stand to match, but it's pricey ($45 here at Revain for a basic piece of stainless steel) and the design is a little odd. (See my review of this product.)
