Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Nintendo 3DS XL Silver Limited Edition - Mario & Luigi Dream Team โ€“ A Gaming Wonderland by Gerardo Goodson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing I've bought in a long time

I love my new 3DS XL. I wasn't sure I would be happy with the 3DS, but I decided to give it a try because it would open up a whole new library of games for me. 3DS makes a good impression. It's a lot more comfortable than the original DS I had. I like the arrangement of the various controls. All buttons respond very well. The touchscreen is also accurate and responsive. The 3D effect can be adjusted or turned off completely. My eyes can't get used to the 3D effect, so I turn it off most of the time. I find 3D works best when I hold it properly, but when I move my face or DS I get a weird blurring effect that bothers my eyes. So far I've found the 3D effect to be more of a gimmick than an integral part of this system. I am satisfied with the battery life. With 3D switched off, this takes several hours. The screen diagonal is large enough that I can still play games after work on the computer. I avoided the original 3DS because of the small screen size. This system comes preloaded with Mario and Luigi Dream Team, which I really liked. Dream Team is a casual game that can be saved at any time, allowing you to play in short intervals. I was surprised to find that it took me 60 hours (hours in game) to complete the game. I like to explore everything in games so this game was perfect and probably one of the longest games I've ever played. Overall, I'm very happy I made the decision to purchase this 3DS XL. Recommend it to anyone who loves games. I look forward to getting to know the 3DS game library.
