. If you fill it with towels, old clothes or whatever, it will keep all the contents so you can just take it out of the dog bed and just wash the dog bed, not everything. I just want the mesh to be a little tighter. The reason I bought this was because my dog's bed was only loosely filled with polyfill stuffing. When I had to wash the bed I had to put the whole bed in the wash (not very possible as it was too big to wash) or take out the filling (which made a mess as the filling was scattered everywhere). Now I can put the whole stuffing in a stuffing bag and put it in a dog bed blanket. I just wish the mesh was tighter so I could possibly put it in the wash with the poly fill. Unfortunately, I think some of them will go through the holes in the web. It stays fine with normal use, I just don't think it will hold up all after washing and drying.
