This was the perfect fit for our 'kitchen laptop' that we use for recipes and research. Not only does it look great and is high tech thanks to its aluminum construction, it holds our laptop securely over the cooking surface and is much easier to type and view. Plus, it's so light and compact that it folds up in a drawer for easy storage, and I even put it on my tray while sitting in my living room for an e-reader.
