The straps are the same length as the straps that come with the 40mm Active 2 but the holes on these straps are larger so they will be tighter than the straps can come with include this. The fact that these straps are made of fine leather is what makes the watch so comfortable to wear. The only thing I noticed is that the extra tape that's plugged in slips off if it's not tight enough. The slight difference in this silicone compared to the bands that come with the watch allows it to slip more on contact (I hope that makes sense). So I would recommend wearing it as tight as you can stand. Overall I would definitely recommend.
