These curlers are essential to keep my curls for a week. I have chin length type 4 naturally curly afro hair. One way I style my natural hair is by rolling it up with perm wands to get curly afros. Although my hairstyle always looks beautiful on the first day, I have not managed to make my hair last more than 1 day. My curls flattened and deformed when I slept. I now use these 5/8 inch satin coated foam rollers to twist the hair around the perimeter of my head where I sleep. The satin really protects my hair and I love that I don't have to use end paper. Because the curlers are so soft, I sleep and wake up with perfect curls. I had no trouble snagging those roles. They work much better than non-satin foam rollers as they don't pull on my hair. No need to use end papers, saving so much time. Now my curls last 5-6 days. Just in case I will order 2 more packs as a replacement.
