I do not travel with any of our three cats, nor any of them, so I cannot comment on travel experiences. However, when the vet arrives, they are all in escape mode. This morning I used this lightweight carrier for the bravest of the three. Of course last night she was too smart to follow the smell of her favorite wet food so this morning we had to PUT her in the carrier. When facing the wearer, there are four options: both sides (2), front, and top. We stopped at the top and it worked as easy as it gets to put an unruly vet cat in a carrier. But when I tried to carry them without a stretcher, it was like sunshine after the rainy season.
