This bag is suitable for most regular sized (full size) sewing machines or even for carrying clothes, accessories, small rulers and fabric for class. Since this is a lighter weight canvas fabric and comes folded, I inserted double-thick cardboard to create a stronger base for my machine. Later I will make a fabric sleeve to wrap the cardboard. There is a pocket on the outside of the case. Since I use a small split plastic tool case for assembling the feet, it fits nicely in this bag, as does the controller and cables. It has two handles with an attached handle "sleeve" that snaps both handles together for easy carrying. Well made and the zipper looks well sewn. It's not well padded. So if you need extra protection, do as another commenter suggested and use foam sheets for padding. Check the measurements as there is a similar Singer case that is smaller for 3/4 size machines. If you have Gem Gold or similar, this case may be too big for what you need.
