I really like how quickly it heats up and that there is temperature control. I have waist length hair and it was very easy and quick to straighten my hair. Normally my old straightening iron takes between half an hour and 45 minutes, for me it was 10 to 15 minutes. The extended swivel cord was helpful as I didn't have to stand directly against the wall while using it. I highly recommend this straightener.
