I love these knives. My father, who was a chef, had Rada knives. I never knew the name of the brand until my sister told me when I saw she had his knives. I bought them and I love them. Handles will discolor when washed in the dishwasher, but every good cook knows that you will NEVER put your sharps in the dishwasher because they will dull. I also bought a knife sharpener. i love it too These knives allow you to cut vegetables into thin paper if you wish. Yes, because I have to add veggies to my meals or some family members never get fiber. With these knives you can cut vegetables so thin that they practically disappear in soups and other cooked dishes. I love my Rada knives and I still will love them, even if they're discolored because someone who was lazy at my house put them in the dishwasher. Please don't stop making these knives. I may need to buy more for the wedding.
