I have at least a dozen reading glasses scattered around my house and garage, and for the first time I was impressed and thought that these lens cloths are very well working. More recently, however, I began noticing a cloudy, hazy film on all my glasses a day or two after cleaning, which was getting worse every day — a phenomenon that never happened until I started using Optix 55 lens cleaning wipes, which is worse, ever The more times I used these wipes, the thicker and more difficult it was to remove the gauzy veil. At first I began to suspect that maybe it was my essential oil diffuser or the incense sticks I sometimes lit, but since my glasses were also cloudy, fogged up and covered in film in the garage, this theory turned out to be wrong . I now have about 150 eyeglass wipes that are useless for cleaning my glasses, although as a last resort they work pretty well as hand sanitizer when I'm in public places.
