The only drawback is the glass issue. The rounded edges on the sides and the built-in scanner make it nearly impossible to read any text. The staff at the store quickly applied the hydrogel, and I thought everything would be OK; however, there was no cutout on the screen for the cameras, and my resulting selfies were quite murky because of the film, so I had to remove it. Everything is great, the cameras are up close and personal, and life is good. A gcam can be rolled out and used to take typically decent shots; the phone is intelligent and quick; there's plenty of storage space; and you can even add an external memory card if you need even more space. The screen was the deciding factor in my purchase of the Samsung; it is vivid, juicy, rich, and silky smooth. Being able to install a calculator on the same Bixby button gives you complete control over your device. It's just a song. Let's see how things pan out, however Samsung does have a negative: they start to fall behind about 18 months after a purchase. Moreover, a different sensor, this one without a display, either works intermittently, requires a film or glass, or does not work at all. I would advise it in general.
