Love this set of pens and drawing pencils. I've since upgraded the holders I use and settled on my favorite nibs, so I don't use either of the sets often, but for less than $10 you can get two sizes of pens and a couple of nibs. Everything you need to get started and find out what you like and how you work (or even find out if you don't like pens and nibs). Everything about this set is functional and a lot of fun to work with. . This inexpensive set offers enough variety so I can focus on what works for me without buying 60 nibs and 10 holders. And I have to say I really appreciate them because they are a good and inexpensive way to get started with markers, they even come with examples and instructions for getting started with pen and ink and calligraphy. Too often, entry-level products are so crappy that they switch it into a new area, and good products are too expensive for the person who wants to experiment with something new. Speedball pens, holders and ink are all of good quality and very reasonably priced. Yes, there are better products in each of these categories (in fact, speedball ink is still my favorite), but it was really nice to have all three products at an affordable price. And in fact all three Speedball ink, nibs and holders are of decent quality, I still use the 102 and 107 "Hunt" nibs and holders and black Speedball inks.
