Review on Graco® ModesTM Adventure Stroller Wagon by Carrie Morris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

4.5 stars: roomy, folds up pretty small, baby loves it

Overall this is a really good stroller (wagon? I don't know what we call it). It's fairly compact when folded (considering it's a two-seater), easy to push and steer while being passenger-friendly, and well-made. This is NOT off-road. I know they advertise built-in suspension, but you still need a well-groomed trail for that. This is not a mountain bike. It's got a lot of features (buckles on the seats for kids, suspension that helps with moderate bumps, dual canopies that fold down, height-adjustable handlebars, front wheels that can swivel or lock straight, center shelf for kids) and they're all pretty well done. Rather than continue 4 paragraphs about them, I'd rather point out my biggest issues: 1) I wish they hadn't advertised it as a suspension SUV. Suspension works/yes it's ok—but you still need a well-formed wide trail/path or a mowed grass park to pull this through. The tires are 5-6 inches, maybe it's not an ATV. 2) It is inconvenient to jump on curbs. The tires are small and you really have to lean on the handle to push the front end - and when you have a kid it's even harder to sit on that end but I always seem to struggle opening and closing one half while the other tries to fold its back onto me. It's not scary but my wife has a good laugh every time. 4) When two children sit in it, parental storage is minimal. I will not put more than 10-20% of your diaper bag in it. Basically plan on taking a diaper bag, I guess that's it. Those are my main complaints and they're not that big of a deal as long as you know what to expect when you buy them. It's well made, easy to use, my kid loves to sit outside and be able to look around and has a lot of poom when we have our second kid and they're both lugging around.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other options
