Review on Warmth, Style, And Ethics Combined: Molemsx Men'S Vegan Down Winter Jacket by Jerry Delozier

Unique zipper design let's you sit, zipped, without coat bunching

First of all, don't let the "USA" embroidered on the main label fool you. It's made in China. It is true to size. My 12 year old is 5'9", 150lb. He is between a S and a M in men's. This fits him fine. It's has wise stretchy cotton waist and wrist bands and lots of pockets - 4 are lines with fleece and one seems to be waterproof. There's even a place to stick two pens. The unique thing is the main zipper. There's two sliders. At first, we couldn't figure out how to put the coat on because it seemed like one zipper zipped while the other unzipped and it was never going to release, forcing you to put the coat on over your head like a shirt. BUT if you bring both sliders to the bottom and tug ever so slightly on the top one, both release. You can put it on but then you need to feed the bottom stop into both sliders at the same time. This takes a little bit of practice and some fine motor skills. Someone without good finger dexterity will not be able to do it.What's nice about this weird zipper design, is that if you're seated somewhere cold, you don't have to suffer with a bunches up coat. You can unzip just the bottom few inches to go around your lap. It's pretty ingenious actually. The main zipper is plastic, though. So that's disappointing. The inside material is also unique. The back is a shiny metallic fabric that kind of reminds me of the feel of a really nice trash bag. That sounds terrible but I can't thing of what else feels that way. It's very soft, but still very plasticy feeling. My son said it's comfortable.Overall, it's a nice coat. True to size. Good quality stitching. My son likes it.
